Application
Strontium hydroxide octahydrate is used in the sugar industry for its purification, oil and paint industry to improve its drying properties and as an active ingredient in depilatory hair removal products. It is also used as a raw material for manufacturing of other products of strontium salts.
- Metallic siccatives,drying agent for paint,resin and oil,improve drying properties;
- Used to produce strontium octoate as paint drier;
- Stabilizer for vinyl resins, plastics and PVC;
- Used for cane sugar and beet sugar refining process;
- Pharmaceutic Raw Materials;
- Catalyst & Absorbent for production of eliminating poisonous and deleterious gas;
- Production of other strontium salt compounds;
- Used as a source of Strontium ions when Chlorine from Strontium Chloride is undesirable.
